AIK Stockholm signs service contract with AISpotter
We are happy to share that AISpotter and Swedish Damallsvenskan club AIK have agreed about game analysis services! AIK is having 130 years long history being the most known football club in Sweden. AIK Damer just made a comeback to the women’s top league for this season and they are having a long term goal to be one of top teams in the women’s football in Sweden.
AIK was first time using the AISpotter services during Volkswagen Stockholm Challenge – women’s football tournament played between four Swedish clubs in the beginning of February. AISpotter provided combined data and video analysis from the games back to AIK what helped the coaches to analyze game tactics and to evaluate both team and individual player performance during the tournament.
The game analysis service is based on AIK’s predefined KPI settings, covering different Game Phases and delivering for example information about playing characteristics (Passing Maps, Ball Play Speed and Sequences End Shot). AISpotter’s analysis gives valuable feedback to the coaches how the team is following game tactics, and how both the team and individual players are performing against the game winning.
The advanced, AI powered, intelligent service is combining video analysis together with both event and tracking data, delivering visualized and detailed performance insights from the games. And coaches can for example see from the Voronoi diagram how well the players are finding and creating spaces.
As performance evaluation is completed throughout multiple games AIK is able to move from descriptive game analysis to predictive and even to prescriptive analysis.
